Yesterday marked the start of this chance and the beginning of an experiment designed to explore how players interact with something when success or failure rests, in a large part, in their own hands.
I must say, the first session ended very well. After the long character creation seminar, in which I felt two parts like an algebra teacher and one part a creative writing instructor, the players where sent to a plane not apart of the campaign proper, to expose them to the fun and intricacy of combat and dungeon exploration.

I'm very excited to continue developing this adventure and seeing where these adventures take their own story in this universe I crafted, and who knows maybe it will inspire them to do the same to others when this module is finished.
